The Hordern Pavilion is predominately a rock concert venue, catering for 5500pax, the Royal Hall of Industries is mainly a exhibition venue with 5,600m2 space.&nbsp; Both were set-up to offer multifunctional venues which are utilised for tradeshows, exhibitions, corporate events, theatre performances and dance parties.&nbsp; The venues can operate independently or linked together sharing the large forecourt area.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/roderickvangelder.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/PVMAerial1200-1-1024x508.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-98\"\/><figcaption>Royal Hall of Industries and Hordern Pavilion<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n<p><!--StartFragment--><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:post-content --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:image {\"id\":98,\"align\":\"center\"} --><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:image --><\/p>\n<p>My core responsibilities included looking after high-profile events during the renovation, such as the Mercedes Australian Fashion Week and Mardi Gras Party, of both venues and involved a high level of consultation with the construction company, Lend Lease,\u00a0 to ensure the venues remained functional for events and were handed back to the construction company to continue the renovations.<\/p>\n<p><!--StartFragment--><\/p>\n<p>Upon the completion of the renovations I was offered the position of Technical Manager for Playbill Venue Management, and briefly Fox Studios Australia.\u00a0 In that position I supervised my team to deliver a wide range of concerts, corporate functions, trade exhibitions, dance parties and theatrical performances.\u00a0 All were delivered on time, on budget and often exceeding expectations of guests and promoters.<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;
